At the beginning of the 20th century, our company founders Mark Balaban and Armen Tertsagian arrived in America and made their way to the Vale of Cashmere in Washington State. There they purchased an apple farm and created our very first candies: Aplets. A half-century later we created Grapelets, the Official Candy of World Expo '74 held across the Columbia Basin in Spokane, Washington. Just like in our early days, we still create and pack each tempting morsel by hand. And we still have a dedication to impeccable quality that you can taste in every bite!
